Kuala Lumpur is by far, the best Malaysian state that has the most beautiful and picturesque skyline in my opinion. Being a fan of tall buildings and skyscrapers, I definitely have to get a hotel with a great view of them whenever I’m in town!

And the hotel that has it, is the Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur. A million-dollar view at a very affordable rate? Sign me up! My stay only costed me roughly RM600 for a night.
The hotel is managed by the Shangri-La group, which is one of the best and major hotel brands in the whole entire world.
Other than the amazing view it has to offer, Traders Hotel KL is also conveniently located in the bustling city center of Kuala Lumpur where there are a lot of famous tourist attractions. The hotel provides free buggy rides to the nearest mall, Suria KLCC too, which is just so efficient and super cool.

Upon entering the room, I was greeted by a large and open space that was tastefully decorated and well-lit. The room had a comfortable king-sized bed with crisp, white linens that looked and felt luxurious.

The pillows were incredibly comfortable and provided just the right amount of support for a good night’s sleep! I appreciated the soft and fluffy texture, which made me feel like I was sleeping on a cloud, literally. Late check-out anyone?

One of the highlights of the room was the attention to cleanliness. The room was spotless, with not a single speck of dust in sight.

The room also featured a flat-screen TV, a desk with an ergonomic chair, and a comfortable seating area. I bring work everywhere I go so I really needed a space to just let my creative juices flow.

In terms of amenities, the room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. There was a mini-fridge for storing snacks and drinks, coffee and tea sachets for my morning ritual, and plenty of outlets for charging my devices. I also appreciated the fast and reliable Wi-Fi, which allowed me to watch Netflix all night long!

An ironing board and bathrobes were also provided. It was the perfect thing to slip into after a long day of exploring the city or after a relaxing shower. Plus, I love bathrobes cause I can sleep in them.. meaning I don’t need to bring extra pairs of pyjamas! I try to travel light most of the time when I’m traveling, I never liked bringing big luggages during my flight cause they tend to throw them around at the cargo. No!

The room was situated with a large window that offered a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding cityscape which was simply breath-taking and added an extra element of luxury to my stay. Waking up watching the sunrise from the window is just an amazing experience by itself.

The bathroom was equally impressive, with a gleaming sink and plenty of fluffy towels.

I appreciated that the toilet bowl has a bidet-system installed. So refreshing! I love being in Malaysia, I don’t even have to worry about getting my bumbum cleaned after my business.

Other facilities in the hotel includes the indoor swimming pool which is just so practical. You can go for a swim, rain or shine.

A big and very spacious gym. I don’t go to the gym (I think I should, but I’m shy) but I’m sure it’s fully equipped for a full body workout.

And an aerobic studio too! It looks like a dance studio somehow. Britney would really love it here.

Overall, I was very impressed with the service and the convenience of this hotel. Clean room, great view, amazing service. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable and clean hotel!
